The Infinix Zero 40 5G, unveiled a couple of weeks ago, will launch in India on September 18 at noon local time. Infinix hasn’t revealed the pricing of the Zero 40 5G in India, but the company confirmed that the smartphone will be sold through Flipkart.
The Infinix Zero 40 5G is powered by the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The device runs Android 14-based XOS 14.5 out of the box and is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. It also supports 20W wireless and 10W reverse wired charging.
The Infinix Zero 40 5G features a 6.78-inch 144Hz 2,436×1,080-pixel curved AMOLED display. In the camera department, the device boasts a quad-camera setup, including a 108MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 50MP selfie camera that can record 4K videos at 60fps.
The Infinix Zero 40 5G also comes with a GoPro mode, allowing users to pair the smartphone with a compatible GoPro camera and use the phone as a viewfinder or to control shooting modes.
While Infinix had also introduced the Zero 40 4G alongside the 5G model, it’s unclear if the 4G variant will debut in India next week. Interested users can stay tuned for more information on the pricing and availability of the Infinix Zero 40 5G in the Indian market.
